Dominic is a 20-year veteran of the Waterloo, QC Fire Department, serving 15 years as a Fire Prevention Officer before being promoted to Lieutenant in 2020.

His experience includes training in pump, aerial, and vehicle extrication operations, along with vehicle and building maintenance. He also serves as Head Instructor with Ferme-Medic, specializing in agricultural and industrial extrication, Argo driving, and off-road rescue.

In May 2025, Dominic retired from his Fire Prevention Officer role to join Sani Gear as Account Manager, focusing on client relations, education, and problem-solving while continuing his mission to reduce firefighter occupational cancer risks.
